NOTICE FRENCH LAKE IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION P.O. Box 111 Annandale, MN 55302 The French Lake Improvement Association has contracted to treat Eurasian Water Milfoil, an Aquatic Invasive Species in French Lake in 2022. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has granted to the French Lake Improvement Association a waiver of the requirement that the Improvement Association obtain the signatures of approval of owners of lakeshore property. Instead, the French Lake Improvement Association will notify property owners of the treatment through alternate forms. This notice is one form that the French Lake Improvement Association is using to notify property owners. Other forms may include but are not limited to notification through the associations email list, website, annual newsletter and or meeting. With regard to the treatment for this year, 2022: 1. FRENCH LAKE TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF DUST CONTROL French Lake Township residents are encouraged to sign up for dust control for the summer of 2022. The roads are scheduled to be sprayed in late May. The policy is for a minimum of 100 feet of road, with the first 50 feet being paid for by the township and the remaining balance to be paid for by the resident. The cost this year is $0.65 cents/ft after the first 50 feet. For example, 100 feet of sprayed road will cost $32.50 for the resident, while 200 feet will cost $97.50. Please mail your check with the below information to the Township by May 13th, 2022 and clearly mark off the distance to be sprayed using flags or paint.
